Amelia Armstrong Obituary

Amelia "Ginger" (Kelly) Armstrong

Resident of San Jose

Was born in Sacramento, California on January 18th 1919. She married Robert Armstrong and together they built their home and family, living in the Naglee Park neighborhood of San Jose for over 60 years. In that same city, on Thursday September 16th 2010, she passed away quietly in her sleep. Ginger is survived by her loving and adored sons David, Dennis and George Armstrong. Though Ginger had no daughters she will be fondly remembered by Judy Wessler, Jeanne, Judy and Joan Armstrong. Her four grandchildren Tom, Adam and Ashley Armstrong, Tracey Barnes, Kahea Usher and five great grandchildren, Zachary and Kieran Armstrong and Justin, Joshua and Brooke Barnes, Maverick Usher loved and will miss their Grandma Ginger. Ginger loved to give of herself and her passing will leave an empty space in the hearts of her friends and family.

Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Central YMCA of San Jose.
