Betty Violet Aldrich

Resident of San Jose

Born: February 10, 1917 - Passed: October 15, 2010

Betty was survived by her daughter, Sandra Aldrich See and her husband Larry, two Grandchildren, Paige and Eric, and four Great-Grandchildren, Holt, Madison, Hayden, and Merced.

Born in Tucson, Arizona, Betty and her family moved to Los Angeles in the early 1920's. Betty worked in the shoe business, she later married the son of the owner of the Aldrich Shoe Corporation, John Aldrich.

After retiring, John and Betty traveled extensively in their motor-home across the United States, Canada, and Mexico through-out the 1970's. Betty most recently lived in San Jose, near Sandra, for the past 12 years.

Funeral services will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. The church is located at 20101 McKean Road in San Jose. The final resting place for Mrs. Aldrich will be in Los Angeles following a memorial at her Granddaughters home in Southern California. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be sent to the Diabetes Society, 1165 Lincoln Avenue, 3rd Floor, Suite 300, San Jose, CA 95125. Arrangements by DARLING FISCHER.
