A pioneer in CA community mental health services, Psychiatrist Clyde G. Miller, M.D., has died. He served Santa Clara, Tulare, Marin and other counties during his career.
Clyde was admitted to the University of Chicago at age 15. His education was interrupted to serve in the Pacific as a cryptographer during W.W. II.
Survivors include spouse Gail M. Webber; daughter Jessica (Rob) Kapnek of NY; sons Zachary of L.A., Derick (Rachel) of TX, and Xavier; granddaughters Anastasia, Caitlin and Kiago; sister Judith Keith of OR.
Beloved by family, friends, and patients, he will be sorely missed.
A celebration of his life is being planned.
