David Beatty Obituary
Resident of Hollister
81, passed December 13, 2010, with his family by his side at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View. He was born August 9, 1929, in Kansas City, MO. He met Rose Ellen Gerrard while working together at Mariani Orchards, they married February 24, 1957 and celebrated 53 years of marriage. He loved his family, playing the tenor saxophone, sailing, and flying.
He is survived by his wife Rose Ellen, of Hollister, CA; his sons Mark, Kevin, and David, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A gathering of remembrance will be held on January 2nd, at 2:00pm, 79 Lisa Lane, Hollister CA. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent in memory of David Beatty to Sempervirens.org.
