Jim & I met through an organization we were both members of. We would meet for breakfast, usually once a week, and talk about lots of different topics that we both found to be of interest. Jim loved to talk politics, economy and sports. He had many stories both informative and humorous about his earlier years growing up and in the service.
Jim helped me understand how to cope with many of today's modern problems. I appreciate his friendship and express my deepest sympathy to Mary and Mary Ann for their loss. He will be missed by many friends we had in common.
Warmest regards and condolences,
Jim R.

We didn't meet James Murphy either, but we knew his sister, Mary Ann Knauss and met his mother years ago. With a charming mother and a caring sister, he must have been great as well, being cut from the same cloth. We are sorry for your loss. John & Barbara Hotsko (Salinas, CA)
