Lorraine Pasquinelli Obituary

Lorraine Ann Pasquinelli

Resident of Santa Clara and San Jose

"A Life Well Lived"

At home, on November 9, 2010, at the age of 79, our Mom peacefully passed from this life to the next, where her son, Monte, was waiting with open arms. Now she is happily tending to Heaven's rose gardens.

Her daughters, Gina and Sherri, son-in-law Brad, and daughter-in-law Kathi, will miss her "I love you's" and never ending support and strength. Her husband Gene was her constant and attentive companion for which she was very grateful. "G-ma" as she was nicknamed, was adored by her grandchildren: Marissa, Kristina, Janelle, Rachel, Jared, Jake, Jenni, Kate, and Ben. She shared a close bond with her brothers and sisters, Manny, John, Rose, Adeline, Mary, niece Janice, brother and sister-in-law, Leroy and Carmen, and their families. Her puppies, Lola and Turbo were always by her side.

A lifelong volunteer, and volunteer for 35 years at the O'Connor Hospital information desk. This was an important part of her life where she made lifelong friends and gave back to her community. She touched the lives of so many with her thoughtful and generous ways.

Lorriane's final requests were for everyone to remember her as she was at her 79th birthday party surrounded by her favorite people on a bright, summer day...smiling, beautiful, and fondly remembered. To honor her memory, enjoy one of her favorite pastimes...walk on the beach, watch a sunset, play tennis or volleyball, admire a rose, garden, vacation with your family, play with your grandchildren, and say "I love you."

Private family service to be held. If you'd like, a donation in memory of Lorraine Pasquinelli can be made to "O'Connor Hospital Foundation" at 2105 Forest Ave., San Jose, CA 95128.

Sweet Auntie Lorraine..I will always remember her laugh..her love of family..now she is free to breathe..tend God's garden, have lunch with Mom and of course be with Monte and all the other family up there. My love and deep sympathy to Uncle Gene and all her family.

Aunt Loraine, A very kind and caring lady, with a ready smile and wit to match. Speaking of match,I remember in the late 1940's, as just a little guy walking to Santa Clara High School, with her and Aunt Mary to play tennis. Our family will dearly miss Aunt Loraine. Teresa and I send our love and prayers to Uncle Gene, children and grandchildren. Ron & Teresa Nunes

Lorraine was a caring and kind neighbor we met when we moved to Emory Street 14 years ago. She arrived at our front door when we first moved in with a bouquet of roses from her garden to welcome us. And through the years she continued to be a great neighbor and became a good friend. We will miss seeing her outside, smiling, windows open, with music playing softly as she worked to maintain her beautiful garden and yard. That is how we will remember our friend Lorraine. God Bless - our thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.
