Preceded in death by Richard A. Gomez, sons Rick and Rudy Gomez, and Ron Caballero. Beloved mother of Lori Gomez, Robina Gomez-Avery and Jose Ramirez. Devoted Nana to many. Loving sister of Luz Gomez. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas. Age 85 years.
Friends are invited to attend a Vigil Service Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 7 p.m. at LIMA-CAMPAGNA-ALAMEDA MISSION CHAPEL, 600 S. Second St. San Jose, with Visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass Friday, December 10, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE CHURCH, 2020 E. San Antonio St. San Jose. Interment to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Lori, Robina and Jose and your immediate family, I wish you much strength in this time of sorrow, just remember Your Mother is now in HEAVEN with the Angels,It was very hard to lose My Mother, but time does help heal your deepest sorrow. She's not going be forgotten just turned in to a wonderful Memory, My Tia Lupe had a kind and caring persona not to mention a witty sense of humor, she will be dearly missed by all. So sorry about your Mom Laurie and Robina! I just have to say what a beautiful party you gave her and was her last. She said alot of wonderful things to everyone. she is a great lady and very lovely and we'll miss her. Stay strong you two and we love you lots.
