Lupe Valcazar Obituary
Resident of San Jose
Passed away peacefully at home on December 26, 2010 after a second valiant fight against cancer, with his beloved daughter Valerie, and family members by his side.
Born August 6, 1940 to Nicolasa and Abraham Valcazar in St Paul MN, Lupe is survived by his beloved daughter Valerie Peller, son in-law Mike Peller, and granddaughters Lauren and Natalie Peller who always gave him great joy. He also leaves behind his loving brothers and sisters Mary Gurrola, Joe Valcazar, Angie Smith, Mauro Valcazar and Virginia Duran. He now joins his son Anthony Valcazar, mother Nicolasa, father Abraham, brother John Valcazar, and sister Faye Martinez in God's kingdom.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Monday, January 10th 2011 at 10:45am at St Patrick Catholic Church, 389 E. Santa Clara St, San Jose, CA 95113, followed by burial service at Mission Santa Clara Cemetery located at 490 Lincoln St, Santa Clara CA, 95050. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Lupe's honor to the American Cancer Society at WWW.CANCER.ORG.

To my friend Lupe how funny i met two guys always ready for any thing when it came to nabbing some one in need don't leave you might miss the miracle who loves you God and then me haha he laugh thank you for giving me back what i missed in my school days writing notes to each other [which i still have with dates and times]thank you Lupe & tommy.you will be missed with love & spirit you have showen me a better way of life.

For my Godfather, Uncle Lupe:
A man with spunk, laughs and jiggles,
Showed me humor through lots of giggles.
He shared his jokes with enjoyable flair, could challenge one to a game of dare.
With smiles and snickers, a fun-type prankster,
could talk like Bogey as an old-time gangster.
He shook it up and liked to get on down,
and would tell me he danced just like 'ol James Brown.
He lived his life with a creative style,
that made his friends and family smile.
We'll miss you here but know some day,
we'll share a life in God's way.
A joyful place with no sadness or sorrow,
no grief, no pain, no time to borrow.
For it's a place so full of life and fun,
Reliving memories, enjoying the sun.
Those passed before are waiting to greet you,
to love, embrace, guide and greet you.
We'll see you again and until that day,
You are missed and remembered in the most special way. Goodnight Uncle.

To the Family Members: We are sorry for your loss and may God confort you during this time of sorrow. . Lupe was a good neighbor and friend to us for 30 years while we lived in San Jose. If we needed something, he was always there for us, going the extra mile each time. We will miss him, but always cherish in our hearts the good times we spent with him.. Uncle Tony,
You will be missed by everyone. I'm happy you will get to see Anthony again, and that you are with God resting and feeling good now. I will remember riding in the back of your green machine and Friday Grab bags, trips to Mcdonalds,weenie soup, and your dollar size pancakes..some of my special memories of my childhood. Lupe, I will miss your jokes and your kindness. You were always there for me, especially those early days when I was so scared and confused. August Birtday celebration will never be the same without you and Tommy. Say hello to him and let him know that the two of you are always in hour hearts at 6 AM.

Lupe and I spent alot of time talking on the phone when our sponsor Tommy Hawk was ill. Even though I live in Ireland, Lupe and I were pretty close and I will miss talking to him. Lupe we will get together up above so hold a seat for me.
