Resident of San Jose

74, entered into God's waiting arms on October 10, 2010. Paul was born January 26, 1936 to Dario & Maria Alvarez. He is survived by his children JoAnn, Ray, Barbara, Dario, Elizabeth, and Donnie and 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by son Paul Alvarez, Jr. He is survived by his siblings Mary, David, Jessie, Gilbert, Ray, Rachel, Angie, Eloisa and Matthew. He is preceded in death by his siblings Ralph, Ruben, Joseph, Maxine, Richard and Martin.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial celebrating Paul's life to be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 15, 2010 at Cathedral of Faith, 2315 Canoas Garden Ave., San Jose. An Honor Guard ceremony will be held at VA San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements by Chapel of the Flowers, San Jose, CA 294-9663.
