Raynard Sandwick Obituary
Resident of the D.C. area
On Thursday, September 16, 2010 Raynard Allen Sandwick Jr., 59, passed away. He was the beloved son of Raynard A. Sandwick Sr. and Antoinette G. Sandwick of Warrenton, VA. He is survived by: wife, Helen M. Sandwick, MD; sons, Raynard A. Sandwick III and James P. Sandwick, MD; sister, Andrea N. Rosse, VA; brothers, John A. Sandwick, Geneva, Switzerland, and Michael E. Sandwick, Washington, DC; nieces and nephews. A private memorial ceremony was held on Assateague Island, MD on October 1, 2010. Donations in lieu of flowers to the American Cancer Society.

I sure miss my brother. He was overall a great guy, full of energy and life. He had a magic magnetism that made loyal followers of many he met. His adventures around the world are legendary, doing more in a short time than almost anyone I've ever met. Most important, he leaves behind his sons, two of the finest young men any father could have produced.
