Dear Carol, Kathleen, Maureen, Patty and Families,
I write on behalf of my mom and my siblings. My mom's caregiver, Jhona, kindly cut out and gave me the newspaper notice of your dad's death. My mom has not been informed as she has dementia and doesn't handle such news well.
She so loved hearing from your dad, especially comforting after my dad died two years ago.
What I remember most about your dad (besides his brilliance) was his wit.
I hope you find peace remembering your time with him and what a good man he was.
Fondly,
Mary Kay Blumenthal Reager

Maureen and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time of loss. May your faith and your memories comfort and strengthen you as you simultaneously grieve your loss and celebrate your Dad's life.
Blessings,
Mark Schaal
