Dear Mrs. Aimonetti...please accept my condolences on the passing of your husband. My message may be strange, but feel I must proceed. My paternal grandmother was an Aimonetti, Madelena Aimonetti Saccoman. I am trying to find any information I can find on my grandmother's Oklahoma beginnings. She was born in Locana Italy and moved to Oklahoma with her parents, then moved on to northern Minnesota where she met my grandfather and raised my father and his brother. If you can help with any information, I would very much appreciate it. Thank you. Kathy Saccoman Van Wert

My dear friend,Doreen,
I was so saddened to hear of Bill's passing. Was just getting ready to call you regarding the reunion. Willie K. told me of your situation.
How blessed you were to be married to such a great guy. Sounds like you created your own football team PLUS+.
You are in my prayers, girlfriend. I've lite a candle for Bill. He will live in your heart forever.

That big bear of a voice was only matched by the one of the kindest hearts. Mr.and Mrs. Aimonetti always made me feel at home and have fond memories of growing up on Antonio Ln. The campbell community has lost a great man. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you,

Bill and his son Steve were my roommates at the 1976 Little League World Seriries. I will miss his deep, growling voice cheering only positive things at Westmont football and elsewhere

Bill and Doreen are our best friends and 1500 miles will never change that. We spent so many happy times together, whether we were eating pressed duck and drinking side-winder fangs at the Lanai, going to dinner in San Francisco, seeing Sinatra, or just staying home while Bill barbequed rib eyes in the back yard. All of our memories of our times together are happy ones. We loved Bill, and he will be missed.
