I was not fortunate enough to know Jen or her family personally, but I was introduced to them by our mutual neighbors. I can't begin to express how touched I was by the magnitude of Jen's heart and the loving support of her family and husband. I believe that one of the greatest gifts we can extend to the world is to make a difference in the lives of others, and Jen accomplished that and so much more. Her courage and the strength of her conviction will always be remembered by all those who were fortunate enough to have crossed her path or heard her story. As a mother of two daughters my heart goes out to Jen's parents as I can only imagine how difficult this time must be for you. My heart also goes out to Jen's husband as I know it must have taken enormous courage and strength on your part to have walked this path with Jen. I lost both my parents, so I understand the grief associated with the loss of a loved one. My prayer is that all of you will feel peace in knowing Jen is home with the Lord and that one day each of you will be reunited with her again. Thank you all for including the world in Jen's incredible story of love, strength, honor and courage. She was and will continue to be a bright light in this world. My family's prayers will be each one of you! God bless...

Jen used to do my hair. I haven't seen her for a few years. I recognized her photo in the paper even without her hair, her radiant spirit and smiling eyes were right there. I'm so shocked to learn of her death. Not only was she a talented har dresser, but also a sweet and thoughtful friend, we used to have the best conversations! My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I have no connection to Jen Kate, other than I'm a cancer survivor and have been following her story. Jen did beat cancer because she lived life to the fullest and was happy right up until she passed from this life. She was able to be happy because she was confident in her faith and knew where she would be going. Death is not difficult if you know you've done the best with what God gave you, and I think Jen did just that. It is however, difficult for those loved ones left behind. Sylvia and Richard, I wish you love and peace of mind; Jeff, she's with you always and I admire you for not fearing cancer; you remind me of my Joe. There are many things cancer cannot do, and to kill someone's essence and spirit is just one of those things in a long list. All of you take care.
