I'd like to again say thank you to my late uncle Adelbert Kenyon for his sacrifices for our United States of America. I'd also like to share a story I heard about the late James Arness who was active on D-Day and was one of the men who stormed the beaches. The story goes that being as James was 6'7" his boat commander had him go first so others could follow him and hide behind James. There were so many Americans who stepped up to defend our democracy, our Republic, our United States of America from dictators, I thank each and every one of you!

I wish to convey my appreciation to my late uncle Adelbert Wallace (Dell) Kenyon for what he did for our United States of America and a special thanks to all those Americas that served in WW ll to keep a dictatorship of the world away from our nation. I've heard them called "The greatest generation" and I can tell you in my heart they certainly are!, and always will be, thank you!

In honor of my uncle Adelbert (Del) Wallace Kenyon I want to say that of my uncles he was/is my favorite and I still and always will hold fond memories of him, his laughter, his love of country, home and family, his love of his wife Violet (Vi) Kenyon and life in general. I want to take this memorial day to say thank you to uncle Del and to all the men and women who fought so bravely during world war II against the axis dictators who tried to rule the world with their creepy crazy ideas. It is to these folks we all owe so much thanks and I hope that all of America understands the sacrifices these folks made for our freedom. So I say thank you with all my heart always to the bravest generation ever! James M. Kenyon

RIP Dell, You will forever be remembered in my heart. I'll miss our little chats here & there as I miss chatting with Vi. I pray that you're with her now as you two had the MOST WONDERFUL relationship that anyone could have. If only I could've been so lucky? God speed ol' neighbor. Bill

I want to say that my uncle Dell (Adelbert Wallace Kenyon was/is one of the bravest men I ever knew and one of the most honest as well. I got to spend some time in the last few years talking with him and writing letter which he said he enjoyed very much. I understand Dell had an insight that only one who survived what he went through could have. Uncle Dell and the brave men and women who stood fast against the tyrants who wanted to rule the world deserve a great thanks from all of us who are still free because of their sacrifice. Rest in peace uncle Dell. James M. Kenyon

We were very sad to learn Del passed away this week. We had many great bottle digging adventures together through the years. Del and Vi taught me everything I know about collecting early american antiques. He will be greatly missed. God speed old friend...Rest in Peace.
