He was the best grandfather a girl could ever ask for! He always put others first, and allowed us to have so much fun growing up. He treated my grandmother with so much love and respect, and taught me what attributes to look for in a man. I am beyond lucky to have had him in my life for 25 years. I love you Pa and will miss you always.

I am Jeanne Smith's mother and have had many family visits with Bill and Berta as we called them. He was always a gentleman and loved to have a conversation and had a hardy laugh. A pleasure to be in his and Berta company. May God rest his soul and comfort his loving family. Dolly Drabble
