Mark was my best friend in junior high and we remained friends through high school and after I got back from military service. I also wish we could have reconnected over this past thirty years and hope he now finds peace. Best wishes to his surviving family.

Mark and his family, parents Barbara and Ben, sisters Betsy (deceased recently), and surviving sister Diana were like my family away from California. They were good friends, good people, and we were quite close when I lived across the street from them and afterwards, for a period of 24 years. I was sorry to hear of Betsy's passing away, and even sorrier after Mark's, since he was really devastated by the death of his parents and his sister. He took excellent care of her when she had M.S., as his parents would have wanted; and kept her from a nursing home, even though it meant scheduling all the healthcare workers constantly and his staying home. I was so sorry to hear of his passing from friends who saw this in the paper.

Sincerely,
Marilyn W. Knorr
