Sister Neonilla,
We were certainly blessed to have known you during these past years. As you walked around our Stoneham there was always a light of hope and encouragement. Your visits to the sick and the bereaved did not go unnoticed, you touched many lives. You are good and faithful servant, may you now receive all the glory and gifts in the presence of God that you so deserve.
The legacy you have left will show us all the art of living a good life.Thank you for sharing all your gifts and knowledge with our family

Sister Neonilla had a great impact on my life. As a young sister she was involved in choosing my parents . She arranged for my adoption in 1951 through Catholic Charities in Baltimore, MD. It wasn't until 1990 that I contacted Sister Neonilla directly and asked for her to write a letter to my parents on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. (My mother had kept in touch with her over the years and I surmised that she had had some part in my adoption.) Sister wrote the most beautiful letter that I read at my parent's celebration and there wasn't a dry eye in the room. She told of placing me in my mother's arms. It was very, very moving. In later years we talked by phone when I was diagnosed with cancer, when I lost my father, when I lost my mother and just this past December when I lost the last member of my family, my brother Mike, who also was adopted. I treasure the small photo that I have of her. It was my intention to get to meet her in person, but alas that didn't happen. She will always be a special part of my life and will remain in my prayers.
