Lillian Arendall Obituary

ARENDALL Lillian Jean Bobo Arendall, affectionately known as "Gamma" to her family, passed away on November 21, 2012. Jean was born in Mobile October 2, 1927, the only child of Mildred Potter Bobo and Raymond Earl Bobo. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Alexander "Bobby" Arendall, and grandson, Keith Baker Arendall, Jr. She is survived by her four children, Robert Alexander Arendall, Jr. (Donna), Debra Potter Arendall, Keith Baker Arendall (Jane), and Jeri Jean Riis (Erling); nine grandchildren, Robert A. Arendall., III (Merrill), Drayton B. Arendall, Blair Stevenson, Whitney Stevenson, Jeri Jean Stevenson, E. Hayes Arendall (Natalie), Bradley Arendall Maroules (Nick), Erling Riis, IV, and Robert A. Riis; and four great-grandchildren, Nancy Arendall, Robert Arendall, IV, Mary Brannon Arendall, and Baker Arendall. Jean attended Murphy High School and Alabama College where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in biology. While raising her four children, Jean enjoyed gardening, sewing, playing bridge, reading, and was an avid shopper. Following the death of her husband, she subsequently lived with and unselfishly cared for her mother until she passed away in 2009 at the age of 104. Jean was a long time and active member of Springhill Baptist Church. She enjoyed vacationing at Perdido Key and abroad with her husband. Special thanks to Crystal and all the kind professionals at the Eastern Shore Rehabilitation Center. The family will receive friends from 1 P.M. until 2 P.M. on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Springhill Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday at Springhill Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Springhill Baptist Church or a charity of your choice. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com Arrangements by:
