Fred Burnette "Buddy" Johnson

JOHNSON Fred Burnette "Buddy" Johnson --A 72 year-old native of Canton, MS and a resident of Theodore since 1942 passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 5, 2012. Mr. Johnson was the former owner/operator of S.E.E., Inc. and B&B Boat Builders. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a longtime member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church. He will always be remembered as an awesome father and grandfather and from his wonderful sense of humor. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, Fred L. and "Marietta" Grant Johnson, and brother, Dusty Johnson. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Mildred Vines Johnson; children, Burnie Johnson (Davi), Brad Johnson (Monica), Tonya VanKirk (Lewis), and Brian Johnson (Vanna); siblings, Bibble Johnson (Hazel), "Big" Terry Johnson (Becky), Joni Broome, Vickie Schwartz, and "Little" Terry Johnson; 19 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at 12:30 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 7, 2012, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
