James Triplett

James B. "Bill" Triplett, age 88, a native of Winston Co. MS and resident of Mobile Co. since 1949, died on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Sue Triplett, a sister, Ruby Solich, a brother, Edward H. Triplett, and a daughter, Susan E. Triplett; He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Georgia Helton Triplett; his children, Carol K. (Leon) Edwards, James M. (Doris) Triplett, and Billy Joe (April) Triplett; eight grandchildren, Denise, Jeremy, Marcus, Billy Joe, Jr., Joshua, Lyndsey, Ashley, and Brittney; eight great grandchildren, Ryan, Shawn, Macie, Billy Joe, III, Parker, Miles, Tripp, and Blake; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held, from Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home, on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, from 12:00 until 1:00 pm. Chapel Services will follow at 1:00. Interment will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to your favorite charity or College Park Baptist Church building fund.
