Berneta Sundling Obituary

BERNETA ELAINE SUNDLING JUN 17, 1936 - MAR 27, 2011 Berneta, known as Sunnie to her friends died after a short illness in Doctors Hospital. She was born in Sutton, Nebraska to Burnett and Dorothy Hurst Sundling. The family moved to California in 1941. She attended Oakdale Schools and graduated from Oakdale High School in 1954. Shortly thereafter she joined the armed Forces where she retired after 20 years of service. She returned to Oakdale in 1997. She was a volunteer at the Oakdale Chamber of Commerce office for several years. She was preceded in death by parents, Dorothy and Burnett Sundling, brother Bill Sundling and sister Carol Nelson. She is survived by brothers, Jerry Sundling (Betty) and Robert Sundling (Gwen) and four nephews and three nieces. At Sunnie's request, there will be no services.
