Dad enjoyed his family and his grandchildren. He talked about how great it was to be a teacher and work with students. Former students would often challenge him to remember names and often he would. Thank you for the warm thaughts and prayers.

I first met Mr. Puccinelli in Sept. of 1963 as he was my Homeroom teacher at Mark Twain Jr. High when he first moved to Modesto. We remained friends for over 45 years. Al was always a happy man with a smile as wide as the city limits. He was a special teacher to me as he added that extra help I needed. He always had time to talk and always wanted to know about my family. My wife Anne and I miss him already. Bless you, my friend.

Mr.Al or POOCH as we use to call you. I read in today's paper of your passing and I was quite shocked and saddened.
I was one of those fortunate enough to have you as a teacher. There will never be another as fine as you.
Every time I've ever thought about my days in his classroom, it has always brought a smile to my face.
I also knew Al from The Modesto Elks Lodge where my Grandfather was also a member.
Al always had nothing but a smile and kind words for all he encountered.
To his family, my sincerest condolences to all of you. I know you will all miss this man very, VERY much.
Many blessings to your family from mine.
Rest in Peace Stan. Until we meet again, blessings to you, my teacher, my friend.

Puch was a great guy. As a beginning teacher he positive attitude was great to see on a daily basis. Each and every time I saw him over the years he was always upbeat and very interested in what was going on. And he sure did love his boys. Rest in Peace

I have very fond memories of this sweet man. I knew Al as a customer at Model Pharmacy where I worked in the gift center. He always had the biggest smile and the kindest of words when he came in. At times we could be so so busy, and he was so patient and sweet. Always asking how we were doing(my co-worker and I). He was a man who touched another person's life with a happy memory in our hearts. I will always treasure having been one of the lucky people who knew this gentleman even if it was only a short time of my life. Bless his heart. Al's family~you are in my prayers.

I am one of those fortunate enough to have had the pleasure of having Mr. Puccinelli as a teacher. He was always quick with a warm smile and encouraging word. He was a standout educator who will be fondly remembered.
