Thanks ever so much sending me the guest book. Pooch and me went thru 12 grades. He was a great friend and a very good ball player. We relly missed him at our 55 reunion. I,ll say some prayers for him and his family. Bob Nelson 1954 classmate

Dad enjoyed his family and his grandchildren. He talked about how great it was to be a teacher and work with students. Former students would often challenge him to remember names and often he would. Thank you for the warm thaughts and prayers.

I first met Mr. Puccinelli in Sept. of 1963 as he was my Homeroom teacher at Mark Twain Jr. High when he first moved to Modesto. We remained friends for over 45 years. Al was always a happy man with a smile as wide as the city limits. He was a special teacher to me as he added that extra help I needed. He always had time to talk and always wanted to know about my family. My wife Anne and I miss him already. Bless you, my friend.

Pooch, I will miss you my friend. He knew how to light up a room! His smile and laughter were infectious!!!

Mr.Al or POOCH as we use to call you. I read in today's paper of your passing and I was quite shocked and saddened.

I was one of those fortunate enough to have you as a teacher. There will never be another as fine as you.
Every time I've ever thought about my days in his classroom, it has always brought a smile to my face.

I also knew Al from The Modesto Elks Lodge where my Grandfather was also a member.

Al always had nothing but a smile and kind...

Rosie and family, being your best friend Rosie.I have know al for awhile.i know you loved him with all your heart and soul.and he loved you .wish i could be there for you but i live so far away.may god bless and comfort you and his family and yours. love you Barbara God Bless.

Puch was a great guy. As a beginning teacher he positive attitude was great to see on a daily basis. Each and every time I saw him over the years he was always upbeat and very interested in what was going on. And he sure did love his boys. Rest in Peace

I have very fond memories of this sweet man. I knew Al as a customer at Model Pharmacy where I worked in the gift center. He always had the biggest smile and the kindest of words when he came in. At times we could be so so busy, and he was so patient and sweet. Always asking how we were doing(my co-worker and I). He was a man who touched another person's life with a happy memory in our hearts. I will always treasure having been one of the lucky people who knew this gentleman even if it was...
