Dear Santos Family,
I had the privilege and honor of knowing your beloved Gramby when I was a student at Stan State. A few days a week I would go to her house and we would go for walks around her neighborhood. She was a lovely woman who reminded me of my own grandmother, my avo'. I always enjoyed our walks and listening to her stories about 'the old days'. Time with her helped ease the feeling of homesicken due to being away at college. Her laugh WAS contagious and she was full of bits of wisdom.
I am so sorry for your loss of such an incredible woman. I am thankful and blessed to have know her even for just a short time!
Sincerely,
Melanie Rodrigues Sousa
