My Mother went to be with our Lord and Saviour on the day of his birth. What a great day for my Mother to go and walk the roads of glory. She will be missed, but her memories will always be with us. I love you Mom and thank you for our life. Your Son Joe

I first met Elsie at Empire Baptist Church and we hit it off immediately. We attended many Modesto A's games together and greatly enjoyed the time we spent together. She was such a lovely lady. Her tender heart and loving spirit was there for all to see and no one who looked at her could not see that she walked so others would know she was a christian.

I was this beautiful ladies pastor for several years while she lived in Empire. God has called home a precious lady and I know the Angels are singing a wonderful song today with her arrival in heaven.
She was very supportive of the ministry in Empire and a friend who did all that she could with the work at the church.
