Gordon Roy Obituary

GORDON LEAL ROY MAY 30, 1914 - OCT 5, 2010 Gordon Leal Roy was born near Van Buren, Missouri on Saturday, May 30, 1914 at 6 am. He moved to Big Piney, Missouri where he married Argie Lane on December 18,1932. They had one child before moving to Ceres, California in November, 1934. The Family moved to Turlock, California in 1961. He was a carpenter. Gordon was a member of the Assemblies of God Church and gave his heart to God on April 15, 1939. He went to be with Jesus on October 5, 2010. He leaves three children, Leslie Leal Roy (Louise C.), Betty Audine Fuller (Charles L.) and Gordon Duane Roy (Connie L.), 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; 5 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, 11 great-grandsons and 3 great-granddaughters. A visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 8th from 4-8 pm and a chapel service will be Saturday, Oct. 9th at 1:00 pm, both to be held at Lakewood Funeral Home Riverside Chapel, Hughson, CA.
