Judy Bishop Obituary

JUDY "PETERS" BISHOP APR 21, 1916 - OCT 30, 2010 She was born in Patterson, CA on April 21, 1916. She had three children, Norm Peters, Leroy Peters and Judy Terry; and seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. Our mom was a home maker. She loved to cook and she made the best sweet bread. Mom was still cooking Christmas dinner at eighty-nine years old. She was always crocheting booties and beanies for all of us to enjoy. But I would have to say what she enjoyed the most was bingo. Mom would play her cards, and still tell us all the numbers we had missed. We went on many trips to Reno, and mom could stay up longer than the rest of us, and on the way home would be looking at her watch to see if she could be back in time for bingo. Mom loved to work in the garden, she had such beautiful flowers. Thank you mom for teaching us how to enjoy the beauty of the garden . There will be no service as requested by our mom. Please send donations to Community Hospice Foundation, 4368 Spyres Way, Modesto, CA 95356. www.modbee.com/obituaries

Oh Nan how missed you already are by all. 94 is alot of great years to have lived and I have loved you unconditionally all 94 yrs. Fishing, bingo, baking with you spending lots of nights with you was and will always be in my memories. Thats the great thing about memories, they are all your own. Not a day goes by still, that I don't think of my Dad and all my memories of him and now you will join those thoughts too. Please tell my Dad that I love him and give him a huge hug from his *Niece* he never called me Denise even if I was in trouble lol. I have my lilys in my back-yard from your yard, and I will be reminded of my special Nan for many years to come. I will forever love you Nan.
