MANUEL LOUIS SOARES OCT 8, 1920 - NOV 25, 2010 Mr. Manuel Louis Soares of Visalia passed away Thursday November 25, 2010 in Visalia at the age of 90. Mr. Soares was born October 8, 1920 in Stratford, California to Joe and Mary Soares. Manuel worked as a Farmer and was also a Carpenter for the last part of his career in Visalia. Manuel retired in 1998 at the age of 78. Manuel was a United States Army WWII Veteran and a long time member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Manuel was a talented carpenter and truly enjoyed woodworking, traveling in his RV, eating Antonietta's home-cooked Italian meals, and spending time with family and friends. He will be best remembered as a loving and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 Years, Antoinetta Soares of Visalia, Ca, sons Manuel Louis Soares Jr of Modesto, Ca, Danny Soares and fiance Elisabeth of Visalia, Ca, John Soares and wife, Sandi of Visalia Ca, Paul Mangini and wife Mary of Dillon, Mt Gabriel Mangini and wife, Jennifer of Visalia, Ca; and daughters Nicolette Mangini of Lemoore, Ca, Theresa Zotti of Visalia, Ca, and Anna Brown and husband, Dennis of Visalia, Ca; and loads of grandchildren and great grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held Thursday, December 2, 2010, 10:00am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, followed by a graveside service at Visalia District Cemetery. A rosary will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 6:00pm with visitation from 4:00-7:00pm, both at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
