What you saw is what you got. Max was a good friend for about 30 years and was never pretencious. He called the shots whereever they landed. I'll miss him and always will. We talked 2-3 times a week, and he would relate his sucess or failure at the Turlock Gun Club. He had many friends there. So, farwell Max, my friend. May Heaven smile upon you.
Your friend Fred.
miss calling him 2-3 times a week to update on his trap-shooting prowess. A good and lasting friend, even in his passing

I will miss my trips to the airport and back to pick Max up. The big guy carrying his big gun, during hunting season. I'll never forget some of the faces of some of the people, seeing him pick up his gun and carry it out of the airport. You will be riding in a different carriage and flying with heavenly wings. To all the Bartlow family, like you I prayed and wished for a different outcome...but Max is in a far better place and will be waiting for us to join him some day. God Bless You All! My Love and Prayers, Ann and Ed

Words, however kind,
can't mend your heartache:
but those who care and
share your loss wish you
comfort and peace of mind.
May you find strength
in the love of family
and in the warm embrace
of friends.
Deepest Sympathy

How does one say good-bye to someone they have grown up with their whole entire lives? Oh how Janet, Pamela and I liked to tattle on you and Bruce. You loved to pick on us and we would run to your mama and get you in trouble all the time. The day you showed up on my doorstep with a pomegranate juice squeezer you had made by hand just for me was the day that without words....we knew how much we loved each other. I will see you again someday. Until then.....rest in peace my cousin. I will eternally love you!

Max was a genuine character & will be greatly missed at Gallo. He added much joy & color to our work place. It will not be the same place now that he is gone.
