What you saw is what you got. Max was a good friend for about 30 years and was never pretencious. He called the shots whereever they landed. I'll miss him and always will. We talked 2-3 times a week, and he would relate his sucess or failure at the Turlock Gun Club. He had many friends there. So, farwell Max, my friend. May Heaven smile upon you.
Your friend Fred.

You will be missed greatly. Our family gatherings won't be the same without you.

I believe that through life you meet the same people over and over and every now and then God gives you someone special that you know you will never meet anyone like this person again Max was that gift to the Dycus family the memories we have of our friend Max will last a lifetime we love you and will always miss you Max their will be a big hole in our family without you but we will never forget you love Dave and Patty Dycus

I will miss my trips to the airport and back to pick Max up. The big guy carrying his big gun, during hunting season. I'll never forget some of the faces of some of the people, seeing him pick up his gun and carry it out of the airport. You will be riding in a different carriage and flying with heavenly wings. To all the Bartlow family, like you I prayed and wished for a different outcome...but Max is in a far better place and will be waiting for us to join him some day. God Bless You All! My...
