We grew up in Rivebank with Bob and his family as small children, Bob was someone that was a big part of Riverbank, he gave my son his first hair cut about 49 years ago...After we moved from the valley we could always ask if Bob was still cutting hair and the answer was always "Oh Yes...

How comforting it is to look back 80+ years to memories of the enjoyable times "my Bob" and I shared with you.

Bob was a Riverbank Icon. Everyone who was from Riverbank knew Bob, he was a Barber who always had a good story to tell. He always spoke well of people. He will be missed by all who knew him. Over the years I know he cut my hair hundreds of time and I always enjoyed his stories. May he rest in peace!

Sorry to hear of Bobs passing. His barbershop was a hub in downtown Riverbank. He always had stories to tell. I'm sure he's in heaven giving haircuts and telling stories. He will be missed by his family and those of us who visited his shop for
an update in what was happening in the "city of action". God
bless you Bob. Ron Carter

Granddaddy,

I have so many fond memories from my childhood, from Disneyland and midnight swims in the hotel pool, to all the weekends we spent playing 21. I know you let me win most of the time, so I would have money to take home. I wish we would have spent more time together, during my adult years but I hope you always knew how much I loved you!

Bob was really a fixture in down town Riverbank for many years. It was always great to be able to get a haircut and visit with Bob. His barbershop was always an enjoyble place to spend some time. Have known Bob and his family for many years and he was quite a guy. Lloyd Glasgow.
