MANTACHIE – Casey Wilson Spradling, 31, passed away Friday, July 18, 2014, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born December 23, 1982, in Tupelo. He was a graduate of Mantachie High School and received his B.A. and Masters degrees from the University of Mississippi. He worked as a sound and grip on films. He was an avid photographer, knife collector, and reader.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, July 21, at the Stephens Cemetery with Bro. Bill Adams officiating. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Mantachie is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his father, Jerry W. Spradling; his grandfather, Bro. Castor Buse; and his uncle and aunt, Terry and Carrie Buse, all of Mantachie.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Tammy Lee Buse Spradling; his grandmother, Iva Lee Buse; his grandparents, M.W. and Effie Spradling; and an aunt, Laurie Buse.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Buse, Jordan Buse, Roy Turner, John Wee, Greg Patterson, and Nathan Buck.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
