Gracie Czarnik Obituary
Family and friends may visit from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Rupp Funeral Home. Rev. Jeffrey Heimsoth, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.
Born February 12, 2002 in Monroe, Gracie was the daughter of Michael and Sarah (Brey) Czarnik.
Gracie was preparing for her sophomore year as a student at Monroe High School where she volunteered to be a "Trojan Mentor" for the incoming freshman class and volunteer of the Project Unify program for students with special needs. She was also an Honor Roll student and sang in the school choir.
Gracie had a natural affection for children. Ever since she was a little girl, Gracie dreamed of being a pediatrician. She enjoyed hanging with her friends, camping, swimming, shopping and music.
Gracie is survived by her father, Michael (Tiffany Dye) Czarnik; mother, Sarah Czarnik; sister, Brianna Czarnik; brother, Dawson Czarnik; grandmothers, Ann Czarnik and Joyce Ogdahl, all of Monroe.
Gracie was preceded in death by a grandfather, Dennis Ogdahl.
Memorial donations in her memory may be sent to any Ronald McDonald House.

Words cannot express the sorrow that I feel for all of you. Although I never really had a lot of contact with Gracie I will never forget her asking me if I wanted her to tell "Clyde" hi for me. I will never forget that beautiful smile that she had each time she asked me. I know that she was a beautiful person inside and out and I am deeply sorry for your loss - thoughts, prayers, and love go out to each and every one of you! ❤
