After Stanley's passing, Carolyn married Charles Pinter and gained three stepchildren: Chuckie Pinter, Dianna Pinter, and Susan Gilstorff. All of Carolyn's children remember her as a kind, gentle, patient, loving mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals and help others.
Carolyn was a longtime member of the Carleton VFW Post 4093 Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Carleton Senior Citizens as well. She was an active and dedicated member of the Thompson's Station Methodist Church in Tennessee and loved singing hymns. Carolyn also enjoyed watching sports and spending time with her family.
Carolyn was a loving person. She loved God, she loved her family, and she loved everyone she met.
