EVERETT, WA - Andy Ish, 64, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2011. Andy was born August 29, 1946 in Salinas, California. He attended local schools, graduating from Salinas High School in 1964. Andy, a gifted athlete, was involved in sports all of his life. During his childhood and high school days he was a successful basketball player and later enjoyed coaching. He was a former business owner of Stewart's in Oldtown, Salinas.
He is survived by his children, Kristen and Brian; his granddaughter, Samantha; his mother, Bonnie; brother, Steve (Amy); niece, Allison (Scott) Gribben; and nephews, Jeff and Greg. Andy was preceded in death by his father, Stewart and his brother, Joel. At his request, no services will be held. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or SPCA for Monterey County.
