Its a lil late.....but i just found out about Gerald's passing and i am deeply hurt and saddened that he had to go so soon!! I worked with Gerald at Staples & I must say he is the nicest & funniest person I have ever met. I will always remember him walking in the door as everyone got smiles on their faces and rushed to say hello!! We all called him "G". He was always there when i needed to talk to someone and always provided great suggestions. He always had me crackin up. But I do remember how much pain & suffering he had to go through...he is in a better place!! I will always miss you Gerald...watch over me...my angel!! xoxo

I had the pleasure of working with Gerald at Seaside Children's Center in the early 1990s. He was a very friendly, kind man with a wonderful smile. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

To the Ashurst Family,
I knew Gerald very well from school. He also worked at the preschool my son and daughter attended. They knew him well also. He was like a part of our family. We used to laugh alot whenever we would see each other. I will always remember that big smile that seemed to never go away. I will miss my friend, but I know he is in a better place. My prayers are with your family.

I didn't know Gerald very well, but i did know his sisters, Lisa and Rosie, you could tell they came from a good home, always making me feel like, i was their 'sister' instead of their friend. My heart goes out to them at their special time of need, so i say to them, 'God has called another one of his angels home, where he will never have to 'roam.' In time you will soon see, that your brother is where God really wants him to be, so close to the 'heavenly' skies, so close where he could catch the tears that falls from your eyes..So be strong my dear friends, be strong until the day you all will get to see him again! May God bless your every footsteps,
