Aunt Nellie and cousins; So very sorry I couldn't make it to the funeral. Prayed for all of you on that day that peace would cover all of you. Have many wonderful memories.

Cliff,My brother and I would spend the week-end at your house and it was the best time - play ball in the back yard and later Uncle WC would cook hamburgers on the grill. They were the best and still are. I enjoyed my time there during the summers. Those summers were good. I knew your dad served time during WWII . I never asked, & didn't know where, as a youth - now I know.I always thought highly of him as a uncle but now proud he was my uncle and a Hero. Uncle WC would get all of us kids at grandmomma's house during the summer. Get each of us in a headlock & scrub our noggins with his knuckles. We would stand in line for this for or he would chase us down. Most of the time just the boys but everyone would get a laugh. I know Aunt Nellie, Joy and Nan remember these times. Memories are what we have of him & they will stay with us forever. Love you all, Nick
