James Veres Obituary

VERES, James Lawrence (Jimbo), age 58, of Montgomery Alabama passed away on October 13, 2015. He was born in Montgomery on November 12, 1956, the son of Frances M. and John G. Veres, Jr. He is survived by sons, Daniel Paul Veres (Jennifer Clavin) and Jeffrey Scott Veres (Adrianne Capps) and four grandchildren: Zoe, Evelyn, Eli and John Henry. Jimbo was a long-time member of St. Bede Catholic Church. He worked for many years at Rebel Pest Control, serving in a variety of roles from technician to supervisor. He was an avid hunter, golfer, woodworker and musician. He will be remembered by family and friends alike for his sometimes gruff exterior and his unfailingly generous heart. Visitation will be at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2015 followed by a rosary and memorial service at 4:15 p.m., officiated by Fr. Pat Arensberg, both at Southern Memorial. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family. I grew up with all the veres boys and had many good times with Jimbo. It breaks my heart to hear this news but know he was a wonderful person with such a sweet heart. My God put his loving arms around each and everyone of you during this time.
