Carol-Ann TETRAULT SIRSLY Obituary
Doctor Carol-Ann Tetrault Sirsly passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016 in Montreal, surrounded by her family. Born in Montreal to Olga Wydet and Edwin Tetrault, she was fiercely loved by her husband of 42 years Antoine (Tony) Sirsly, her two daughters Dominique (Robbie) and Francesca (Stéphane), her sister Darlene Rayment (Peter), her nephews David and Michael, and sister-in-law Christena Keon Sirsly (the late Claude). She earned her CA/CPA, MBA and PhD and led a brilliant career, first in business, then in academia. She most recently taught as an Associate Professor at the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University. In addition to those notable accomplishments, she was an incomparable wife, mother, and friend. Her kind heart, sharp mind, playful wit and boundless love will be so deeply missed. She was a generous and warm hostess who made everyone feel welcome in her home. She loved to gather her friends, was a tireless champion of her loved ones, and an unstoppable force in everything she undertook. At Carol-Ann's request, there will be a short viewing for relatives and friends at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 5, 2016 at the

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Carol-Ann Sirsly. I was very lucky to be her student at Carleton in 2012, she was extremely helpful and patient, she provided me the best learning experience. Thank you for everything Mrs.Sirsly. You will always be missed.

Dr.Sirsly remains a great example for me. This is such a sad loss for the entire Sprott family and everyone that got to know Carol-Ann. She was such a positive, inspirational person and having her as a professor really helped me develop a passion for business. The manner in which she helped improve her students as people, not just academics will always stick with me. Carol-Ann was gracious, kind and gentle with every one of her students.
