Mrs. Moore was by far my favourite teacher at LaSalle Catholic 1968-1971.
She changed my life by taking an interest in me and my education.
I am forever grateful to her.
She is long gone now, but I see her smiling face in my mind’s eye.
I am so glad I got to talk to her at the big reunion years ago.
Thank you Mrs Moore for being a great teacher.
Sincerely

Buddy;
Please know that you and Maureen are in our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult of times. All we can do is remember the fun times we shared on the 2003 Europe trip and the 2006 Greece Cruise. So much laughter and exciting times where we got to know you and Maureen better. She will be missed and thinking of her will always bring a smile to our faces. Thinking of you always makes me laugh since I remember how you always used to find a "PUB" no matter where we were.
Take care my friend...Mike & Shirley Bedard

I worked with Maureen at Queen of Angels Academy and I will always remember her as a no-nonsense, down-to-earth teacher with a great sense of humour. She loved to teach and truly cared about her students. I'm just so sad that she didn't have more time to enjoy her retirement years with her husband whom she loved so dearly. My condolences to Buddy and Maureen's family and friends.

Dear Buddy,Family and all her Friends: Even in our ongoing joys in life there will be an underlying sadness yet gratitude that we were all blessed with this wonderful person we came to know as Maureen.I was blessed to share the trip of a lifetime in China with you both and hear Maureen exclaim that she was in the South China Sea in a boat in the Hong Kong Harbor, all things she had read about and imagined about in novels she had read. And to have shared a dinner table with you both at the 17 dumpling diner. All those years at LCCHS with Maureen and you Buddy are among the most memorable. You had to know how deeply she loved you by the number of cold arenas she sat in at hockey tournaments in different provinces and states. A best friend,a lady,a remarkable person, I'll never foget her. Bob and Debby Chartrand,LaSalle,P.Q.

Ms. Moore was my art teacher and later my math teacher at QAA in my last year of high school, 13 years ago. She left such an impression on me and planted the seed of love for Math, that I later went into teachers college to become a Math teacher. I will forever remember her and my deepest condolences to all those who loved her.

Dear Buddy
During the great seven years I spent at St. St. Louis I met Maureen on too few occasions. I thought how blessed you were to share a life with such a gentle and caring person. But, then again,I really felt you deserved each other.
I got to know her much better in China over Lazy Susans and thimbles of beer. My first impressions were right on. Mary and I sought out which of the group of eight we would join and felt lucky if there was room at your table.
I know you will miss her. You are not alone

Dear Buddy and Family,
My heart goes out to you and yours at this extremely difficult time in your life.
Maureen was a very special person who could always make one laugh and that is such a wonderful trait to have.
Little did the both of us know when we travelled back and forth to St. Willibrord on the good old Beurling bus that we would end up teaching together in the Math Dept.of L.C.C.H.S.
Those were such fun days which I will treasure forever.
Maureen was a wonderful teacher and so very dedicated to her students.
God Bless you,Buddy.
Rest in Peace,Maureen.

Dear Buddy
I will always remember the first time I met you and Maureen. It was at a Super Bowl party held at your home shortly after I became engaged to Paul in 1986. Within minutes, I knew what Paul meant when he said the party was at two of his best friend's home. From that day forward, I considered you and Maureen among my best friends.
I will miss Maureen terribly - I so wish we had lived closer during these past very difficult months. She once said that I was her hero, but forever more, she will be mine.
Paul shares in my grief. He has not stopped reminiscing of all the years he has known you both (well over 40 years). There are so many happy memories that both of us will cherish forever.
Take care Buddy - we hope to see you on Thursday. Rest in peace Maureen - we will miss you very much.

Dearest Buddy and David,
I just got the news last night. My heart goes out to all of you. Maureen was a rare and true force of nature. Always kind and full of compassion, ready to help in any way she could. Her humor, intelligence, and grace will forever inspire me. I'm so grateful for all the help she gave us and I can only hope she knew that. I am holding on to the thought of her sitting up there with her Mom and Dad, chatting, laughing, and telling stories - my Dad's there too, and they're having a grand ole time. With all my love,

So for now, Goodbye Maureen.... you will surely have little to atone for; and now that you are there, there is even more mirth in heaven. Lucky them, and lucky us, to have played a part in your life. Although what we've lost with your passing is tremendous, what you gave us all is immeasurable. Thank you so very much.

To Buddy & Families: Please accept our condolences. I remember taking my first skiing trip to St. Sauveur with Maureen and her cousin Eileen. Maureen was so calm and methodical and she was the only person I knew who could sew up a dress from scratch and wear it that night to a dance/party. Maureen will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
