Ian MCPHIE Obituary
1938 - 2014
In Verdun, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at the age of seventy-six. He is gone to be reunited with his son Kevin. He leaves his beloved wife Françoise; his daughter-in-law José; granddaughters Amanda and Kara McPhie; his brother Alex (Margaret); sisters-in-law and brothers-in- laws; nephews and nieces; as well as relatives and friends. Family will receive condolences at Yves Legare Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 11 to 3 p.m. followed by the Service in the chapel at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the C.H.S.L.D. Champlain would be greatly appreciated.

My memories of Ian go back to our early days in the sixties with TCA/Air Canada in Airways Engineering. I recall especially his sense of humour and very distinctive laugh. He seemed to see humour in almost everything. I will always remember him.

Condolences to Ian's family. I worked with Ian at Air Canada Dorval base in the 60's. Knew Ian from Lachine High School. My brother Ian Wright & I were friends with Ian over the years.
