Maria Levtchouk Obituary
Beloved wife of the late George Levtchouk. Cherished mother of George (Mary-Claire) and the late Marina. Dear sister of Olga and the late Aggey. Loving grandmother of Alex and Andrew.
Anyone who knew Maria also knew her zest for life. Her beautiful soprano voice could be heard in the St.Seraphim church choir which she directed for many years.
One of the founding members of the Multi-ethnic Centre, she brought her love for the arts, especially music, to the Rawdon community for over two decades.
When at home Maria took great joy in tending to her beautiful garden, and feeding the many animals that came to visit her there.
Her faith and strength never wavered.
She had friends from all walks of life.
She will be missed.
Panikhida at 5:00 pm Sunday, March 8 St. Peter's and St.Paul's, 1151 Champlain, Montreal
Funeral at 10:00 am Monday, March 9 St.Peter's and St.Paul's
Interment at 12:30 pm Monday, March 9 St.Seraphim's, 3495 15th Avenue, Rawdon
Reception to follow at Sukhothai, 3412 3rd Avenue, Rawdon.

Je conserve un beau souvenir de cette dame distingue et dynamique. Je me souviens de sa prcieuse collaboration lors de concerts donns par le Musi-Choeur de Rawdon il y a plusieurs annes. RIP Maria.

Condolences on the passing of Maria. We first.met when I started working at RBC Montreal West and she was a force to.be reckoned with. Strong character but willing to share her knowledge. I have often thought of her over the years and a chance encounter in Montreal was met with great hugs. Rest in peace Maria.

So sorry to.hear about Maria's passing. We worked together many,many years ago when.I started working at RBC Montreal West. She was quite a character, larger than life and she taught me not only about the bank but life in general. I will.always think of.her fondly.My sincere condolences.
