Kenyon Gornall Obituary

Kenyon D. Gornall died Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Welcome Nursing Home, Oberlin. He was 94 years old.
Gornall was a graduate of Lorain High School and Baldwin-Wallace Collage. He served 3 years in the Navy during World War II.
He worked for forty years at The Lorain Journal. Mr. Gornall retired from the Journal in 1989 as Publisher, President, and CEO.
Mr. Gornall is survived by daughters, Sarah Johns, Elizabeth Poirson, Ellen Flaesgarten; and son, Kenyon; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane.

Mr. Gornall was my first boss when I joined the Journal out of college. He was a wonderful, genuine person. My deepest sympathies to his family, and may they find peace in the knowledge that through his work and his relationships he left this world a much better place. God bless.
