Kevin Galvin Obituary
He was born on March 1, 1960, to Robert "Larry" and Raynelle (Augusta) Galvin in Lorain, Ohio. He married Brenda (Rossman) Galvin on October 17, 1992, and she survives.
Kevin is also survived by his mother, Raynelle Galvin of Elyria, Ohio; brother, Bob (Pat) Galvin of Maumee, Ohio; brother-in-law, John Ciarrone of Wellington, Ohio; sisters: Mary (Durbin) Kerr of Upper Arlington, Ohio and Colleen (Dave) Scott of Marysville, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; mother-in-law: Dee (Larry) Dillman of Jenera; sister-in-law, June Rossman of Jenera; and brother-in-law, Lynn (Jayme) Rossman of Bluffton. Kevin was also preceded in death by his father, Robert "Larry" Galvin; brother, Mike Galvin; and sister, Maureen Ciarrone.
Kevin was a graduate of Marion L. Steele High School. He worked for Marathon Petroleum, was the co-owner of Happy Ours Bar in Bluffton and was the night auditor at the Comfort Inn in Bluffton. He was an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns fan and an Ohio State Buckeyes fan, so wear your favorite Browns, Indians, and Buckeyes gear to the visitation. He also loved playing euchre.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge # 698 and Amvets #21. He was a baseball umpire in Findlay and for area high schools as well. Kevin enjoyed barbershop music and formerly sang with many barbershop groups. Most of all he enjoyed being with his family and friends.
Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, where funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 13, 2013. Pastor Kelly Sterling will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of Coldren-Crates Funeral Home and/or to the charity of the donor's choice.

I was very saddened to hear of Kevin's passing. Its been a long time since I last saw Kevin but have some great memories our years in high school and beyond. He was a good friend especially when Jeff was away. Rest in peace Kevin. May you find peace and comfort with our Lord. My deepest, thoughts, and prayers go out to the Galvin family.
