Gloria Moore Obituary

MOORE, GLORIA LEE Widow of John J. Moore Muskegon Gloria passed away at home after a long illness at the age of 81. Gloria was born to the late Clayton and Velda Maynard on December 18, 1930 in Hesperia, Michigan. She was married to John J. Moore on May 15, 1948 and they were married for 53 years until he preceded her in death in 2001. Gloria is survived by 11 children, Sherry (William) Hunter, Karen (Terry) Keith, Ted (Violet) Moore, John G. (Gloria) Moore, Patricia Gemzer, Lucinda (Randy) Gillett, Janet (Bradley) Prince, Bruce (Prudence) Moore, Kathleen (Eric) Tyler, Donald Moore, Laura (George) Beck; daughter-in-law, Tonya Moore; 45 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; five sisters, three brothers; along with many nieces and nephews. Along with her husband she was preceded in death by a son, Michael; and two grandsons, Kenneth and Dennis Prince. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Mercy VNS and Hospice or the charity of the donor's choice.
