AGE: 90 FORMERLY OF BRADLEY BEACH
Janet Lois McGarvey Rogel, 90, formerly of Bradley Beach, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010, in Miramar, Fla. at the home of her daughter, Susan. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Janet was a graduate of Neptune High School, the class of 1938. After she raised her children, she started a career in retailing. Janet resided in Florida for the past twenty-five years returning to New Jersey often to visit her family here.
She was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas Rogel; her parents, Harry and Myrtle McGarvey and her nephew, John P. Deeves. She is survived by her two sisters, Nancy Moore, of Spring Lake and Phyllis Quixley of Bradley Beach; her four daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia Rizas and Robert of Neptune City, Susan Burgoa and Jorge of Miramar, Fla., Linda Rogel of Colorado and Deborah Raab and Robert of Sebring, Fla. She also leaves her grandchildren, Stefanie O'Donnell, Stacey Rizas and Alexandra Delaney, William and Dena Rebozo and Michael Foster. She is survived by eight great grandchildren, Leigh Kelsey, Dylon and Nikolaos O'Donnell, Daisy and Ella Rebozo and Hannah, Michael, Jr. and Gabriel Foster.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
