JOSEPHINE GREGES
AGE: 87 COLONIA
Josephine (Cundari) Greges, 87, of Colonia, died on Monday, Dec. 20, 2010 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Rahway. Born in Ford City, PA, she was a resident of Colonia for 59 years. Josephine worked as a Library Clerk for the Woodbridge Public Library for 25 years before retiring in 1986. She then worked for several years as a Library Clerk at Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis in Iselin. She was a member of Most Holy Rosary RC Church, Hopelawn and a member of the Ladies Guild. She also will be remembered for all the Baptism Bibs she made over 30 years for the church. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at JFK Hospital in Edison.
Josephine is predeceased by her first husband, Mark Greges (1965); and her second husband, Peter Greges (1997); three sisters, Anna Berardi, Carmella Richichi and Concetta Bruno; one brother, Dominick Cundari. She is survived by her daughter, Christine Greges of Rahway; step-daughter, Barbara (James) Casey of Naples, FL; two grandchildren, Jacquelyn (Raymond) Antonelli and AnnMarie (James) O'Connell; four great grandchildren, Kathryn, Dominic, Laura and Olivia; two sisters-in-law, many loving nieces and nephews and cherished friends from around the world.
Cremation services will be private. An 11 AM Memorial Mass will be held on January 8, 2011 at Most Holy Rosary RC Church, Hopelawn. Arrangements have been entrusted to Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Most Holy Rosary RC Church or to the Monsignor Gambino Scholarship Fund, 625 Florida Grove Road, Hopelawn, NJ 08861.
