Transitioned this life May 31, 2015 at the JFK medical center in Edison , NJ. Born in Hartsville, SC she has been a resident of Plainfield 40 yrs. Mrs. Arthur was a member of the House of Prayer Church of God in Christ, employed as a cook for the Plainfield High school for 30yrs., a bus aide for the Barker Bus Company of Bridgewater and a food preparer for Plainfield Housing Authority.

She is survived by her children Andre, Christopher, James, Michael Lorraine Arthur and Teresa McCray 10 grandchildren, sisters Virginia & Geraldine McCray & Mary Anderson, devoted friends Michele Taylor, Minnie Jordan, Lisa smith, Hattie Williams and a host of loving relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Monday 11AM at the the Church of God of Prophecy, Park Place, North Plainfield. Visitation will be held 9-11AM Monday at the church. Arrangements by Judkins. www.judkinscolonialhome.com
