John Walter Coleman

AGE: 72 • Plainfield

John Walter Coleman was born March 17, 1942 to Catherine (Dabney) Coleman and James Coleman in North Edison (Potter Crossing) NJ. Mr. Coleman transition this life on Sunday February 8, 2015. Mr. Coleman grew up in New Brunswick, NJ. Mr. Coleman met and married his wife Ann Kathryn Green Coleman and lived in Plainfield for 51 yrs. Mr. Coleman was a former member of ASA Lodge #2 in Newark, NJ.

Mr. Coleman worked as a head custodian for the Plainfield Board of Education for 31 yrs., he leaves to cherish his memories loving wife Kathryn Coleman, daughter Laura J. Coleman, God daughter Maryann Waldman- John's, sisters Ann Scruggs, Catherine Collier, brothers Clifford Coleman, Paul Ganges, three grandchildren, nephews and friends.

Service at Shiloh Baptist Church 515 West 4th Street, Plainfield New Jersey, Friday13th,viewing 5pm-7pm, services at 7pm. Arrangement by Judkins Colonial Home.

My heart goes out to the Coleman family. I remember Mr.Colman working at Barlow school when I was a little girl. He was always so nice and he was a part of my childrens life as well. He will be sadly missed.
