Plainfield
Sylvia A. Barner transitioned this life May 11, 2015 at the JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ. She has been a life long resident of Plainfield. Mrs. Barner was an RN over 60 yrs., employed at , Muhlenberg RMC in Plainfield, the surgical unit at Bonnie Burn Hospital and in Highland Park, before retiring in 1994.
She was a life member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Plainfield where she served on the Alter Guild, E.C.W. and usher board. She is survived by her husband of 60 yrs. Jerry A. Barner, daughters Wendi S., Leslie M. Barner and Patricia E. Barner-Sharif (Rahman), 3 grandchildren and 5 gr, grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held Saturday 2:30PM. at the St. Mark's Episcopal Church 1430 Park Ave., Plainfield. Arrangements by Judkins. www.judkinscolonialhome.com
